Mr. Lindsey’s practice focuses on patent, trademark, trade secret and copyright matters, concentrating on patent and trademark prosecution. For more than 20 years, Mr. Lindsey has represented clients globally in the electronics, telecommunications, cellular, semiconductor, optoelectronic, automotive, food, medical device, chemical, and biotech industries. He has prepared and prosecuted hundreds of U.S. and foreign patents and trademarks. He has also litigated more than 30 patent, copyright, trade secret and trademark matters filed in U.S. district courts, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and state courts. Mr. Lindsey is an experienced trial attorney who has also handled appeals to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and Seventh Circuit. He has also prepared and negotiated significant patent and technology transfer licenses and has written numerous legal opinions for clients on product clearance, patent infringement, invalidity, and enforceability, as well as right-to-use trademark opinions.
Mr. Lindsey was formerly an attorney with the law firm of Howrey LLP. During law school, he was an extern to the Honorable Judge Blanche Manning of the Northern District of Illinois. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Lindsey designed integrated circuits and communications systems for Motorola, Inc.
